Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats

I love Rice Krispie Treats...but no one loves Rice Krispie treats more than my Dad so needless to say I thought about him the entire time I made these. These are festive, delicious, and so easy to make!!

Use this video to help guide you:

Ingredients:

  • 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter

  • 10 oz. marshmallows

  • 2 tsp. vanilla

  • 6 cups Rice Krispie treats

  • orange and yellow gel food dye

Directions:

  1. In a large pot melt the butter and marshmallows until it is nice and smooth and fully melted.

  2. Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies. Use a silicone spatula to fold everything together until it is well combined.

  3. Divide the Rice Krispie in three and dye one oranges and one yellow. Keep the last one white.

  4. In a lightly greased circle pan (around 10"), start with the white Rice Krispie treat mixture and create a small circle in the center of the pan.

  5. Take the orange or yellow Rice Krispie mixture next and place a layer around the white circle. Spread it out evenly, and press it to stick to the white. If it gets too sticky, lightly damp your hands with water.

  6. Lastly, take the final color and make the last ring in the pan to fill the pan entirely. Use the video above to help you throughout this process.

  7. Let the Rice Krispies set together for about 15 minutes then cut into triangles.

  8. Enjoy!!
