Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake!

I made this Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake for my boyfriends birthday this year and HOLY $h*t!!! It did no disappoint. I cannot take credit for this recipe as I got it from my favorite baking magazines, Bake From Scratch.

Edible Cookie Dough:


  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 2-3 Tbsp. milk

  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


  1. Preheat the oven to 350.

  2. Spread the flour out on a cookie sheet evenly. The flour needs to bake before we use it in the cookie dough. Raw flour contains germs that could be harmful if consumed raw. Bake the flour for 5-7 minutes.

  3. Use a whisk to combine the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add in the salt and milk. Continue to whisk until fully combined and smooth.

  5. Once the flour has baked and has had enough time to cool, mix it into the bowl of wet ingredients. Use a silicone spatula to combine everything and form a dough.

  6. Mix just until a dough forms. Add in the chocolate chips and continue to fold the cookie dough together until everything is nice and evenly combined.
