Holiday M&M Cookies
Servings: 10-12 cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup salted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup M&M's (I used red and green mini M&M's)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Set aside.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add in the egg and vanilla, continue to whisk.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet and mix with a silicone spatula just until combined.
Fold in the M&M's and chocolate chips until they are evenly dispersed.
Use a cookie scoop and scoop about 3-3 1/3 Tbsp. sized balls. Roll them in your hands until they are nice and smooth then place on the prepared cookie sheet keeping about 2" between each one.
Bake for 9-12 mantes or until golden brown on the edges. Cool completely on a cooling rack and enjoy!!
