Jack Skellington Oreo Cheesecake Tarts

Servings: 4-6, 3 1/3" tarts

Ingredients:

  • About 30 oreos

  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

  • 16 oz. cream cheese

  • 2/3 cups sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2/3 cups sour cream

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and grease 3 3/2" tart pans or whatever pan(s) you're using then set aside.

  2. Smash the Oreos in a sealed, large ziplock bag with a mallet until you have small pieces. I like to leave some Oreo chunks but this is totally up to you! You can also place the Oreos n a food processor if you'd like the crust to be very fine.

  3. Place the crushed Oreos in a medium sized bowl then add the melted butter. Mix until well combined then set aside.

  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream cheese and sugar. Feel free to place the cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften it and make it easier to mix.

  5. Once the cream cheese and sugar is creamy, add the 2 eggs. Continue to mix.

  6. Mix in the sour cream. Continue to whisk until everything is nice and smooth.

  7. Fill the prepared pans with the cream cheese mixture a little over 3/4 of the way full.

  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the center is set and just barely jiggly.

  9. Let cool.

  10. Melt the chocolate chips in 30 second intervals until completely melted. Stir between each 30 seconds.

  11. Place the melted chocolate in a piping bag or ziplock bag.

  12. Pipe a jack skellington face on each tart.

  13. Enjoy!
